Lesson 3 (1st-3rd Years) Empty
PostSubject: Lesson 3 (1st-3rd Years)   Lesson 3 (1st-3rd Years) EmptyMon Mar 02, 2015 3:09 am

Lynx was busily marking some papers from his fifth years, he was taking great pleasure in furiously crossing out and circling mistakes in red ink "Idiots, absolute idiots, do they even know how to read" the man hissed under his breath.

Today he had his younger years, a class he wasn't exactly thrilled about, not only because young children are particularly annoying and obnoxious in his view, but this class seemed to think that they could run wild and do whatever they please. With any luck no one would show up and he could give them all Trolls, though mind you their grades from their previous lesson on the levitation charm was quite poor.

Lynx then picked up another assignment to mark, he rolled his eyes after reading the first sentence it was so poorly written, which made the man's job of marking that much more frustrating. Lynx glanced at his watch and noticed that class would start in 10 minutes, he had decided to adopt a zero tolerance to mucking around this time around, the first sense of disorder from a student and they would find themselves out of his class.

Naomi had heard... things about the Charms professor. She wasn't sure how much she believed, but there were enough rumors to make her nervous. Besides, she'd been horribly late for class the last lesson, enough so that she hadn't even gone to class, scared of what might happen if she showed up so late. This time, she was careful to arrive early, but to her horror, she was the only one in the room with the professor. She nodded quickly at him in greeting, then glanced at the room, unsure where to sit. The front was the best for learning, but she wasn't sure she wanted to be that close to Professor Vane... She chose a seat about two thirds of the way back in compromise.

Without anyone else there to distract the professor's attention, Naomi quickly pulled out her book, reviewing the section she'd missed. She hoped that if she was busy, he wouldn't try to talk to her or yell at her for missing last class.

Finley had promised himself that he would never step foot in the Charms Classroom ever again whilst Professor Vane was still teaching them. However, a note had come from the Headmaster, explaining that he had spoken to the professor, and hopefully nothing like that would be happening again. Whilst Finley hoped this would be true, he honestly couldn't be sure that he believed it.

However, it had been his best friend that had brought Finley around to the idea of coming to the class once more, and he'd nodded as she'd told him she would be there for moral support.

Finley was still terrified, however. So, with a lot of hesitance, and numerous times of turning around and walking the other way, Finley had finally made it to the classroom he was supposed to be at. Stepping in to the classroom, Finley kept his eyes away from the professor and hurried to the desk where Naomi was sitting and sat down beside her. His voice was gone, and he was shaking like a leaf now, but Finley managed to sit in the class, waiting for information.
