Lesson 3 (6th-7th Years) Empty

Lynx stood gazing out of the window in the classroom as he waited for the students to arrive, he had to admit he rather liked teaching the older students not only because they were more mature than the younger years but also they surprised him with the knowledge they had. He was expecting it would be like teaching advanced charms to toddlers but it seemed that the 6th and 7th years already had a strong knowledge when it came to charms.

Lynx then began strolling slowly back to his desk, of course there were a few annoying students, like that Newbury girl who was far to cheery and happy for the man's liking, and not to mention that smart mouth Slytherin boy. But nevertheless they were minor problems which could be easily dealt with, after all Lynx always had a talent for being able to command and control a room when he wanted to. He then leaned against his desk, with his arms folded waiting for the students to arrive.

Paulina and Charms wasn't very good friends but she can manage that lesson good. She didn't do here usually so good as she wanted. This year she barely attended any lessons. She was sick or had some other problems what were more important than lessons. Today she didn't wanna miss it.

So here she was walking into the classroom. "Hello, professor," shr said with a small smile when she has walked in. She went to sit back at the classroom, it was not so common place to sit for Ravenclaw girl but she liked there more than front or middle. She sat there and was now bored. She had to wait for oders. So she also crossed hef handa on her chest and waited. She could put things on table what she needed for lesson for time being but she didn't feel like taking them out right now from her bag, what was by now already next to her table. She has time for it later.

The last lesson with Professor Vane had not been Victoria's favourite lesson of all time - which said a lot when the Hufflepuff loved everything about almost all of her classes. But she was adamant to not give up on the class yet - well, there was no chance Victoria was ever going to give up, but she refused to let the Professor dampen her spirits.

So, skipping through the halls and greeting everyone she met on the way, Victoria slipped in to the Charms classroom and smiled warmly towards the professor. "Good morning, Professor Vane." Victoria greeted the man, just as she would greet any other professor. "Hello Paulina!" Victoria added to the Ravenclaw witch who was already here.

Moving to the front of the classroom, Victoria sat down in her usual seat and took out her books and quill, getting ready for the lesson. There was no clue as to what they would be studying, so Victoria just sat patiently, looking ready to begin at a moments notice, turning her new ring around on her finger in a new habit she'd found herself doing.

Miles arrived and let his bag on the floor. Finally a class that involved some action beyond a recipe or memorising, a class where he could develop as a wizard. It brought memories of the first spells since Transfiguration and spells to Defend against the Dark arts were a bit too risky for the first time users of a wand.

Of all 'action' classes, where one would not simply sit down and write his hand off or until the ink made it darker than a cloudy night at Hogwarts, it was not his favourite. That would be a close call between Care of Magical Creatures and Defence against the Dark arts, but still, it was more entertaining than Potions, that was for sure. History could have its moments, but nothing replaced casting a spell.

He took his wand out and put it on the table, crossed his arms and awaited for the class to begin. He waved at some other students that had arrived before.
