Lynx was hoping that this lesson he wouldn't have any surprise visits from the Headmaster, the man was still furious with Daniel questioning his teaching methods, what would he know on the subject. Lynx then began placing old radios on each of the desks "I don't know why I'm even bothering, these ungrateful rodents probably won't even show up" he mumbled under his breath as he placed the last radio on a desk.

Checking the time he saw he still had ten minutes before the class was about to start, to make use of this time he strolled over to his desk and flipped open the class list, his finger trailed down each of the names, as he read each one he made a mental note of each of their names.

Lynx then sat behind his desk, his arms folded glaring at the door as though it had done some personal wrong to him, as he waited for the first couple of students to enter.

While there had been some rumours going around about the charms class and the new Professor not doing so well, Chara had not paid attention to any of them. Despite being interesting to hear, she had to pretend she hadn't - it wasn't becoming of a lady to gossip. But she was only a teen, after all, and enjoyed it nevertheless. She only had to be careful not to let people realize what she was doing.

Pushing all the stories out of her head, she walked into the room, glancing around and realizing, with a small lurch, that she was the only one there besides her Professor. So, with a tiny small in his direction, she gave him a soft hello. Taking a seat in the second row, not too close but not too far, she removed her books and writing materials. Placing them neatly on her desk, she turned her attention to the front of the room, waiting for the class to start.

Alexander had never been very good with attending classes - after all, the schools didn't teach them anything his tutors couldn't. He'd asked his parents why he needed to waste his time with such trivial things as attending a boarding school, and their reply was quite simple. He would attend Hogwarts to form contacts for future life. If not friends, then people he could do business with.

Alexander wasn't much interested in that, after all, he was going to inherit more wealth than he could spend in a life time anyway, so what good were contacts?

For that reason, he'd skipped most classes throughout the year, deciding they weren't worth his time. Alexander wasn't stupid, however, but he simply didn't push himself. Casually heading up to the classroom, Alexander slipped in to the room, not bothering to acknowledge the professor as he moved to the seat beside Chara.

Of rumours, he'd heard a lot, and he had no interest in their professor what so ever. He was simply here to avoid a red mark in the space of his grade that would go back to his parents and nothing more. "Good morning, Chara." Alexander greeted the witch with a small smile, sitting back in his chair and not bothering to get his books out.
