| A light smile graced Janet's lips as she read. She was seated next to a window and every once in a while glanced up to gaze out it at the city before returning to her book as she awaited the arrival of her food. The expensive restaurant was buzzing with conversations, creating the perfect white noise for reading, in her opinion.
Janet smiled to herself as her parents sprung to mind. She still couldn't believe they'd agreed to let her come to France for a while. She had saved her money for a long time to be able to afford it and was so grateful they chipped in, paying driving her there and paying for the hotel. Janet had dreamed of coming here since she was a little girl and now that she was here she found it everything she had hoped.
She had spent a week exploring the city and touring different places, before deciding she had to visit Le Ciel de Paris at least once. The place certainly lived up to her expectations and she glanced out the window once more. |

| Sierra was back in the France and it was few days after the Summit. She had to make one arrangement as always lately. This young woman seemed always work and never really have any fun. Today she had to go to Montparnasse Tower to ask if they can arrange deck view area just for ten people. Private thing. No outsiders. This was a task she had done already before too. People numbers seem to vary.
The young woman walked into the restaurant and walked to the receptionist of the restaurant. "Hello, Could I please talk manager of this place. There is one event I need to arrange. The person knows I'm coming over. My name is miss Sierra Stark. I called over the phone before but I wanna discuss details over in person," she said there to one woman, who seemed to be a waitress there. That woman said that manger will be with her in few minutes. That manager had some other things to take care, she wasn't sure what.
Anyways Sierra looked around a bit and wondered maybe she should get something to eat here too. It was about lunchtime anyway. So she looked around the place and very crowded. "Anyways, miss Maria, let me know when the manager is done and tell her that miss Stark want's to speak with her. Oh, I will take that on a salad from your menu and make it be the takeaway, I might not have time to eat it here," she said to that waitress there, who just nodded and wrote it down and also said your order will be with you soon.
Oh, she heard some whispers from other people around her saying this miss is here again. The one very demanding and so on. She just rolled her eyes at them.
Now she had to play the waiting game there. So she found one table where one girl sat alone. Probably many years younger than her. "Hello. May I sit here until my salad comes?" she asked there politely and pointed the chair across the table of her. She had manners for sure. |

| Janet was about halfway through the book already! How is that, when she'd only reading it for a couple hours? she tilted the book to see how far she was through, judging by the thickness of the combined pages on both sides and nodded. Well, that was a shame, but no matter, she could always grab the second in the series from the library on the way back to the hotel.
She jumped slightly and looked up with wide eyes, straightening from her slumped over posture as a young woman spoke to her, asking permission to sit across from her. "O-oh, yes. Yes, of course." She smiled at the lady and gestured to the open seat. "Be my guest." She stuck her bookmark in the book and set it on the floor between her chair and the window before turning her attention back to the woman.
"I'm Janet", she extended one hand for a greeting handshake, smiling at her. |

| Sierra now realised she might have disturbed the girl awhile she did read the book and she was a bit of sorry about that. She didn't really want to disturb someone. "Oh, well sorry about not letting to finish your book but all other tables seemed to be way more occupied more than one people," she said with a small smile there. She figured she should say that.
"Oh thanks," she said when then the girl said she can sit there. So she took a seat and listened what girl said next. She did basically introduce herself there. Well getting to know someone new is probably a good idea even if Sierra isn't sure if they will ever meet again after this.
"I'm Sierra," she said her own named and reached out with her hand to shake hers. Also, she did shake it. "It's nice to meet you, Janet," she said with a smile. She really thought so. "You came here for food?" she asked something to keep the conversation up. |

| Janet shook her head and waved the woman off. "No, no. Don't worry about it. I needed to get my nose out of that book anyways. It's a beautiful day and some human interection will do me some good." She chuckled and smiled at her.
She shook the woman's hand with a small nod. "Well, nice to meet you Sierra. What brings you here? Surely not just for a to-go salad?" She tilted her head, a smile and a curiuos look on her tanned face.
"Oh, not just the food, though I've heard it's very good here!" She gestured towards the window. "I've been vacationing here for a couple days and heard that this place has an amazing view. Turns out it was not a dissapointment. Great lighting, great atmosphere, great view, I'm sure the food is great too if it would ever get here." She chuckled and leaned back in her seat, sipping on her soda. |

| Sierra smiled and was glad that the girl wasn't mad at her awhile she disturbed her reading. "Oh, I see. Well myself haven't had really time to sit down and read the book. Just works keep me always so busy," she said with a small smile there. She really can't remember when was the last time she did really read some book.
"Oh yeah, I'm not here for salad. Just I need to talk to this place manager. Well, I work as an assistant to Clement's family lady. So they wanna hold here on the private event for ten people. So I need to book a place here. I hate doing it over the phone, so here I am but the manager was at the moment busy. So I have to wait," she explained there and sighed. She really hated wasting her time but at least she might get herself a new friend.
"Oh yes, this place as very good view here for sure. I have never really had very good chance to enjoy it myself. I can't really remember when was last time I had her something to eat. I'm always so busy since there is so much to do. And this is the reason why ordered even my salad on the go. Since I probably don't have enough of the time to eat it here. I just wish manager will be done whatever she is doing," she said. She looked out of the window at the view what she could see from there now. It was really a beautiful she had to admit that. |

| Janet listened and gave the other girl a knowing look. "Yes, life can get that way sometimes. I'm sure it'll calm down at some point and you'll be able to catch some free time."
Janet's eyebrows raised. "Oh really? You work for the Clements? That's so cool! Yes, I find you are more likely to score the date and time you want if you talk in person. It seems much more polite anyways, in my opinion. I saw the manager a while ago and she looked like she was trying to deal with about ten things at once. I'm sure she'll be with you soon."
Janet nods in agreement and looks out the window, a smile playing on her lips. "I've never actually eaten here before, but I've heard it's good. I honestly came mostly for the view, not really even for the food. It's too expensive to be just for the food. What kind of salad did you get? I persononally didn't recognaize half the stuff on the salad page of the menu." She chuckled and lifted one shoulder in a small half shrug. |

| "My life has been busy already like few years. Just working for Clements isn't so easy as people seem to think. Being assistant is very much work. I have so much to do at my days," she said and sighed. She really wished she could have a day when she could relax but there was always things what needed to be arranged.
"Well, yes I do work for them. Anyways I don't really have time for dating. I barely have free nights to do out even with my friends but somehow I manage to squees them into my busy schedules at times," she said. She can't even remember when was the last time she even had a date with someone, it was probably before she became a full assistant to lady Vanessa. "Oh well. I hope she is soon done with those things. I can't really spend very long time here. I have other things to do too," she added and sighed.
"I have eaten here once before. It was back in the day when I wasn't working for Clement's yet. Back in the day when I was still in school. Anyways food here is good too. Oh if I'm not mistaken it was Ceasar salad. I always order it, so most of the employs just know what I want when I say salad," she said with a small smile on her face. She liked most of the employees here but some of them did goss, p way too much to be honest. |

| Janet nods as she listens. "I relate. School keeps me busy during the year and even after school gets out I have more homework, and my book, and all sorts of things. I did find a free week to come here however, so I suppose I must be better off."
Janet's eye widen and she smiles apologetically. "Oh, I didn't mean to be rude or nosy. I meant it's easiest to set a date as in a day of the month if you meet the manager in person to reserve it." Her cheeks flame a deep red and she chuckles nervously. "I wasn't trying to pry in your dating life."
She smiles and nods. "Well that's good to hear. I don't know what I would have done if the food turned out to be mad and I still had to pay the ridiculous amount of money. Yes, I happen to love ceaser salad as well. It's always a safe thing to order off a menu in my opinion. I guess you must come here quite often?" |

| "I was quite busy with school time too of course. All that homework, also being perfect at some point wasn't very helpful. Anyways life then was a little bit less crazy. Now I always go to one place to other," she said. She has become used to her life by now but even yeah having vacation for awhile would be nice.
"Oh, that date. Yeah, it's easier to set it like that in person. Also, both sides will be more clear what is needed and what is wanted. There will be a better understanding for sure," she said with a small smile when she understood what the girl had meant there. "Don't worry it's okay. I just misunderstood what you meant," she said with a small smile on her face.
"Well yeah, I hope you will like the food here too. Yeah, that salad is good to go always. Well, you could say I come here yeah quite often. Usually to arrange some event for Clement's or so. So figured since I usually end up come to here lunchtime to take something to eat for lunch. Salad what is easy to eat and same time healthy," she said with a small smile. She still was waiting for her salad and also to the manager to show up. So she could go and deal with her other jobs she had still to do today. |
