| One of the more prominent features of the event were the myriad of games and activities organized for students and parents alike. The Winter Princess/Mermaid Fashion Show was for those fashionably inclined female students who wished to show off a particular style, the Quidditch Pitch converted into a reindeer racing track tested students abilities to control and ride a magical beast to the finish line in hopes of prizes, the sleigh rides offered generously by the PTA took a dozen students at a time aboard a glistening sleigh and flew them up to the towers of the castle, making a round of the gently, magically snowing skies, the photograph booth was set up to capture moments with family and friends.
And then there was the snow and ice sculpting contest.
Located in a semi igloo styled area beside Greenhouse Three, large draws of fresh snow and ice were stacked along with basic sculpting tools, encouraging students to create anything from a snowman to a replica of the Hogwarts castle. The best sculpture would be awarded twenty Galleons at the end of the event. A sizable queue of students was already forming a the entrance of the half igloo, excited to try their hand at creating art from ice and snow and winning the prize money.
(OOC: To participate, please create a post describing the structure/sculpture you are building and post a picture of the finished product. A winner will be determined by a random dice roll at the end of the thread. Best of luck <3) ________________________________________________ | |
