| When they were given the option on what they wanted to do, Finley instantly turned towards Naomi with a hopeful smile on his lips. "W-work together?" He asked, though he already knew the answer to that one. So, instead, Finley pulled a sheet of paper towards him, going from the runes that they learnt and drawing out the first phrase for his best friend.
He started simple, not because he was trying to belittle Naomi's capabilities, but because he wanted to work up to something hard. So, with a smile on his face, Finley pushed the piece of parchment to Naomi.
In Runes, he'd written Best Friends for her to decipher, and as he looked at it, Finley thought it would be quite a good tattoo, but he shook the thought from his head a moment later, because his parents would kill him if he got a tattoo. |

| Okay, so it wasn't what he had thought. Though really, who would think that. Plus the board did give a rather wrong first impression... Now Alberi wondered where the number part came in? Maybe some papers had numbers on them.. Happily he already knew them. It wasn't as hard. Though really, after learning how to count in French, nothing coming to numbers was hard. Alberi really had to learn more from just English and French as languages... Muggle languages, that is, not magic ones. Because if he began to talk in Ancient Runes to someone, he doubt that he would really be understood.
Because there was no way that Alberi would do teamwork, he went and got himself a piece of paper. It wasn't just the problem of not having friends. No, he overall hated to work with people. They can't get it right! He's better off leading his own solo project. But he didn't have to worry about that anyways - no one would want to work with him and even if they did, they would either leave him to do the work or regret their decision.
Alberi had the luck with a not very hard one. It had words he knew. At first he translated it just with those he knew on one place. Afterwards he would write down those he didn't know, trying to keep it more or less in an alphabetical order, though at the end it was turned into a jumble of half correctly, half incorrectly put phrases. By context he tried to guess the words, though it wasn't easy and he only managed three. The rest he searched up in his book, stopping himself from face - palming himself when he found a word he had known but forgotten. He really has to try better in this... He can't just go forgetting words, after all! |

| Watching the students start on the work, Daniel could see that they were all getting on nicely. Sitting back in his chair, Daniel waited for someone to call for his help before moving over. The class was, for the most part, relatively quiet which was good when working with Runes, because they were complicated.
Very little was needed on his behalf though, so the time passed quickly enough, with the students all having a good go.
When the clock struck the hour, Daniel cleared his throat, standing from his desk. "Okay everyone, that's time. If you have any questions between now and your exams, you know where to find me. If you don't need my help, good luck with your exams, and have a wonderful summer." The Headmaster said, motioning towards the door for them all to leave.
Class now closed.
