PersonalityEmilia is a rather gentle spirit. She's quiet, shy and very caring. She loves animals, writing and singing and she dislikes snobby people, drawing and running. Emilia's strengths would probably be her heart, the way kindness flows out of it as well as the love she has for others. Another strength would be her shyness, because of her shyness, she's able to befriend people after studying them. Also, if they don't plan to stick around, then in her opinion, they don't usually try to break that shyness barrier. As Emilia grows, she'll break out of being shy, and become extremely outgoing.
Emilia's weakness comes to when it's time to do group work, socialize with others or exercise. Despite her slender shape, she's not very active or fit. She prefers to work alone or not at all, and if she is forced into social situations, she wines about it. Emilia would much rather be curled up in her bed, with a good book or earphones in. She's lazy, antisocial and she has a short fuse for those who push her out of her comfort zone.
Background
Emilia was born in Lyons, France to Marcie and Beau Delacroix just two years after their wedding. Two years later, her younger sister was born. The girls had a good relationship with each other and their parents as they grew up. Emilia went to school for a couple years until her magic kicked in, then her parents pulled her. Emilia, was more of a daddy's girl than a mommy's girl, but that's because Daddy was a wizard and worked for the Ministry, so he spoiled them. Their mother quit working after her cancer episode, afraid that the stress of work would create another relapse.
Emilia's magic came in around the age of 7, when she was trying to read a book, but her teacher snatched it out her hands. Emilia threw a fit and the book grew hot, causing her teacher to drop it. At the age of 9, Emilia's father got relocated to Cambridge, England because of his job. Not long after, the family followed him over there. Beau was never fond of his daughters going to Beauxbaxton's as it was mostly a girl's school and a very strict one at that, so the thought of moving to England excited him.
Emilia, however, wasn't a huge fan of it. She cried and cried because they left their home, she grew to resent her father, but only for a couple of days. This past summer, Emilia recieved a letter to Hogwarts and when she realised it was a wizard school, her eyes lit up.

Family BackgroundMarcie and Beau met each other in Lyons, France. Beau had just graduated from Beauxbaxton's and Marcie was working in a small restaurant. They clocked almost immediately and after 3 months of talking, they became a couple. Beau did everything he could to make sure Marcie knew he loved her, he'd clean her apartment, cook for her and take her on lovely dates. Every chance he got, he'd buy her flowers or jewelry or a teddy bear as a token of his forever love.
Before long, a year had passed, then two years. Marcie fell sick with cancer and it hurt Beau to the core. One night, beside her hospital bed, he proposed to her and her answer was yes. Once she got her strength up enough to be free from the hospital except for when she was having her chemo, they got married. It wasn't anything fancy, just a small church wedding, but it meant the world to them. While she was in remission, she fell pregnant with Emilia. Since birthing Emilia, and her sister a couple years later, she's had no relapse of the cancer.
