| Being at Hogwarts as a Professor was certainly different to being a student at Hogwarts. You saw everything in different light and you had to be objective to your students as well as attentive to get them to listen to you and do the work.
For the first lesson of the year Sean had decided to have all of the years together to see where everyone stood in terms of what they knew and what they didn't know. He hoped that the fifth and seventh years were in the right places for their exams but he'd have to see to make a distinction on whether he wanted all the years together or separate.
For the lesson today he had decided to settle on something easy and something that everyone would be able to do. The Summoning Charm, Accio, was fairly easy and didn't require any fancy hand movement. It was so easy that even the first years would be able to do it, well he hoped that the first years would be able to do it as it didn't actually require much force behind it.
On the table in front of him Sean had set down a couple of items that he would have the students summon; some were small items while others were bigger ones that would require a little bit more thought into summoning it but he would explain that as soon as the lesson started.
Watching the minutes tick by, Sean eyed the door to his classroom which opened up with the first of his students trickling in. Pasting on a smile on his face, Sean would wait till the class was filled before he would actually start it. He didn't want any stragglers interrupting his lessons after all and if that meant they'd have to wait extra five minutes then so be it. |

| Theo's body ached. The past lunar cycle had been cruel in it's work on his body. He felt very tired all the time, and his muscles were quite tight. To be honest, he was not one hundred percent sure why his body felt so rough, but he was baring with it.
Rubbing his shoulders as he entered the class - his bag was not helping with the aching muscles - Theo offered the professor a small smile before taking a seat at the front of the class, but next to the wall, so that he could lean. "Morning, Professor Vasquez." The Hufflepuff greeted, not too loudly, but loud enough to be heard.
His dad had told him about the new appointment of a professor. But his dad had left out just how big the man was. Not that Theo was scared of the man, but it did take a moment to adjust to it. Taking out his books, Theo let out a soft sigh, and leaned in to the wall, enjoying the support that took his weight off of him. |

| Making her way towards the Charm's classroom, Prim was making sure to keep a tight hold on Max's wrist as she pulled her friend towards the third floor classroom where the lesson was going to be taking place. The brunette was true to keeping to her promise of pulling Max to lessons; at least until they finished their fifth year she would continue doing this purely for the fact that she wanted her friend to pass his OWLs with at least EE's and not A's or T's.
"Good morning Professor!" Prim beamed at the new Professor her eyes raking up and down the male before she turned away; Jake Newbury was built but this man was built better of that she was sure. "Good morning Theo." She knew the boy by face and name but she didn't personally know him.
Pulling Max towards the seats at the front, she dumped her back on the floor beside her chair before sitting down to wait for the lesson to start. |

| True to her word, Prim had been dragging Max to classes. Not that he minded the encouragement, of course, it helped Max immensely to have people encouraging him rather than berating him. But sometimes, Max's interest was just not strong enough. Charms was one of those subjects that Max had never been overly sure on. Not because it wasn't useful, but because Max found it hard to relate to animals.
Prim, though, was not going to let him get away with her grip on his wrist, so Max followed her in to the classroom, hoping this would be over soon. However, upon opening the door, Max's eyes went wide at the teacher. "Merlin's beard!" Max said out loud as he took the professor in. "Are... Those are some hefty muscles, professor!" Max said without really thinking about a filter in that moment. The Gryffindor barely noticed that he'd sat down next to Prim in that moment.
Whilst Max was firmly heterosexual, he couldn't help but ogle the professor, wondering how on earth you could ever be so muscular. As a teacher. |

| Charms were one of the lessons in what Cassiopeia wasn't best for sure. She knew things here and there but she still did mess up at times. She still decided to show in the class, well she needed to attend some classes anyways.
She walked into the classroom and noticed here and there few people. She didn't really know all of them there. She didn't really care that much about names anyways right now. She greeted the professor and did take a seat middle of the classroom.
She took out needed things for the lesson and now all she had to do was wait for the lesson to begin. She really didn't like the waiting that much but she had no choice here really right now. She hoped it would start soon, so she can get over with this lesson. She actually kind of wondered what they will learn her today and hoped it would be something useful. |

| Hearing that there was a new Charms professor meant that Christopher had to make an effort to attend the lesson just for the amusement. He'd heard of the atrocity that was the first Herbology lesson of the year, and wondered if this would turn out to be much the same. It was a shame, for the Herbology teacher, though. Christopher had heard he was rather attractive, but the fact he couldn't control a class had put the Ravenclaw off.
Walking in to the room, Christopher tried very hard to play off the cool demeanour. The non-plussed seventh year confidence that he usually had. But upon taking in the new professor, Christopher felt like a young boy again. The seventeen year old moved to the second row, sitting with his back against the wall and not so subtly eyeing the older man up. He was quite something...
Those muscles...
Christopher was quite glad he'd bothered now, truth be told. Eye candy would at least help him through the lesson. Though... he was very close to asking how you could possibly be so muscular. He wanted tips. But Christopher was going to have to wait for the right moment to begin questioning the man. |

| If there was one thing that amused Sean to no end it was the reaction that people had to his muscles and truthfully all these robes only highlighted said muscles and made him seem more imposing then he naturally was.
Looking around his classroom, the Professor waited for his students, smiling when the Headmaster's son was the first to come into his class. "Good morning Mr Jameson, are you doing alright today?" He questioned the Hufflepuff before smiling in amusement at his next two students, a female and male Gryffindors, of which the male exclaimed, quite loudly, his surprise at seeing Sean's muscles.
"Thank you for the compliment Mr..." He trailed off, leaving it open for the male to introduce himself before he carried on. "But next time please lower your voice just a tiny bit, some people are much more sensitive to noise than you may know." He was for one and his ears always rang when someone screamed or whistled loudly.
Sean decided to wait a couple more minutes before he started the lesson, if anyone arrived late they'd have to catch up and ask his peers for the notes from the lesson.
"Good morning everyone, my names Sean Vasquez, you can either call me Professor Vasquez or Sean, I don't mind. I'm a Charms Master and your Professor from now on." Sean started off the lesson as he shut the door with a simple flick of his wand, making sure to not lock it just in case someone were to come in late.
"Before we start the lesson I will start off with some simple rules; don't come late to class, if you do I will take off five points from you. Don't act as if you know more than me, I'm the teacher here and not you, I won't take any bullshit from anyone, no matter who you are. Any questions are welcome as long as you don't interrupt the lesson. The door to my office will be open from 5pm until 8pm on weekdays and from 12pm till 6pm on weekends, so feel free to bother me in my free time. I don't expect you to participate in the lesson but I expect to see your homework done on time or you can expect some points being taken off."
Sean looked at the student's faces before he nodded his head and started on the lesson, two simple words appearing on the board behind him.
Accio Charm
"What can you tell me about the Accio Charm?" |

| Cassiopeia did sit there quietly and waited for lesson to start. Soon it did start and she was really glad it did, she began to be bored already there. She wasn't really into talking with these people here who she didn't even know.
When the professor asked what Accio charm was then Cassie thought for awhile if she should answer to question or no. It was few of spells she did even know actually from her head. She looked at her and then raised a hand to answer the question.
"It's also known as Summoning Charm. You can use it to summon object from distance," she then said so much as she could remember right now. She was sure there might be more but she hoped it was good enough answer. At least she did answer it. This was more than she usually seemed to do in lessons. Since usually she was very quiet. |

| "Hollingberry. Maximillian, but Max is fine." Max explained to the professor, lowering his voice like he'd been asked to because he hadn't realised in his excitement that he'd spoken too loudly for the professor to deal with. "Sorry." The Gryffindor added with a little bit of a flush to his cheeks. He hadn't meant to upset the professor from the get go, but it seemed like he just might have.
Watching the Professor close the door with just a flick of his wand, Max decided that this professor knew what he was doing, and therefore definitely needed to be taken seriously.
Taking in the rules, Max nodded along to show he was listening - despite the fact he probably didn't need to be. The question that was raised was one that Max actually knew the answer to and smiled to himself. However, he was beaten to the answer by a Hufflepuff witch.
Frowning a little, Max tried to think a little more about it. "Isn't... this is one of those spells that requires you to really concentrate. Like you have to very clearly picture the outcome. It's not a lazy spell, if that makes sense. Oh, and it doesn't work on people, or food. Which kind of sucks. Well, not food that you don't know the location of... I think..." Max answered, keeping his voice from raising to too high a volume, but still talking much too fast. |

| Prim let a soft snicker escape her lips as Max got told of by the new teacher for being a little bit too loud for the Professor's liking which made Prim lightly whack the back of her friend's head; had Sean not told Max off Prim would've berated him herself as she had been standing next to him when he had exclaimed loudly and her ears were sill ringing slightly.
As the brunette Gryffindor watched the Professor her eyes widened at his ease of doing wordless magic before she focused on what he was saying, making note of the fact that this Professor wasn't one to fuck with.
"As Max said, the Accio charm can't be used on living things but you can use on objects a person is using, like their robes, or sitting on something, like a chair." The girl chimed up and added a few more points to Max's words. "But," the girl continued. "It's fairly risky so it's not recommended as the person or people could get injured." |
