Mimosas and Makeup (Taylor)

Taylor let out a sigh of relief when she told him it wouldn't be anything like that, and felt himself relax. "Oh, I don't mind doing that. Even if you have a lot of shoes. I like organizing things to be honest." he said, smiling. The truth was he did, and it actually reminded him of home. His parents always wanted him and his sister to be neat and helpful, so they'd helped with all kinds of chores and always made sure to keep their rooms clean. He was by far the neatest of his dorm mates, even keeping all of his clothes organized by type of clothing and color.

When she started to turn red and didn't reply to that comment, Taylor thought he may have overdone it a tad. "You're even prettier when you blush." he said, though, deciding to say nothing else on her good her butt had probably looked. "Well, birds of a feather flock together. Or in this case a Lion and Snake. That doesn't have quite the same ring to it though, does it?" he asked.

Taylor finished his own drink, not being affected nearly as much as his date appeared to be. Like most of the older students, he'd found ways to drink before and since he kept in good shape unless he really tried to get trashed a few drinks wouldn't do much to him. He got up and pushed his chair in before walking over and helping her up, one arm around her waist firmly while the other took her hand in his own. Hers felt soft and delicate, decidedly more feminine than the rough handshakes he was used to. "Any preference where we go first? I was thinking maybe Honeydukes so I could get you some sweets. I'm game for something else if you have an idea, though."

Her saying it would be easy for him only had him nod. "Most likely, yeah. It will give us some time to hang out after I organize them, though. How am I supposed to get up to your dorm to do this, though. I know for a fact that there are wards preventing guys going up into the girl's section." Taylor said, curious to see if she had a workaround or if she'd be bringing the shoes out to him to organize. He of course didn't bother to explain why he knew about the wards, having once tried to go up them when a girl he was making out with suggested going to her room. The wards rebuffing them had rather ruined the mood, so he didn't end up going any further than making out that night.

"I suppose it is at that." Taylor agreed after a moment. Seeing the beautiful blonde smile so much let him know that he was doing good so far. This was the main reason he'd tended to date around a little. He had a good time, they usually did too, so why not right? If he met somebody he wanted to get serious about that might change, but of all the people who'd gone out with as of yet Severine was the only one he could really see as a possible girlfriend. He wasn't sure if she'd want to or not, but that was something he could figure out at the end of their date.

The moment he first touched her he felt her tense up slightly, and he gently rubbed her side a little before stilling the movement. "It's alright, just a hand and my arm, nothing untoward Miss Charlot." he said, giving her a wink as he led her outside and started walking towards the sweet shop. It was rather cool out still, but he didn't mind. Soon enough they were at the sweet shop and he looked around. "So, what are your favorites?" he asked, his eyes roving around for a moment before he looked at her lips. "Personally, I'd be the tastiest thing on here are those delicious looking lips." he told her in a slightly husky voice.

Taylor nodded, figuring it was probably best to leave it to her. He'd tried to think of his own ways before of course, but the simplest of flying to a window was way too risky. It would be quite easy to be seen flying to said window and get both him and the girl in trouble. "Sounds like a plan. It's going to be kind of fun sneaking in." he said, curious to see how good whatever she came up with was and if they could pull it off without getting found out. Also, it was kind of funny that he'd be doing it to arrange shoes and not like most people trying to do this for the sake of making out or hooking up.

Taylor noticed Severine seemed lost in thought for a moment and let her think, his thoughts thinking about who he'd have to tell if him and Severine did end up dating. His sister definitely, and he knew their mother would probably want to know. Dad would probably try to arrange a marriage or something horrifying, so he would leave it up to mum on how to tell him he was dating a Charlot. This was of course just conjecture, as they hadn't even completed a successful date yet. Things were going well so far, and he had to admit she was really fun to tease. Smiling to himself, he made a promise not to try and push her too far, especially since it was her first actual date.

"Gourmet chocolate..." he said, scanning the shelves before he found it and pulled down a sizable box. Taylor also grabbed a candy that he really loved that were these little balls about the size of a gumball. Inside were these combination of different fruity flavors that he absolutely loved. He wasn't sure what to make of the giggle he got as an answer to saying that, and leaned a little closer before pausing. "That was kind of my way of asking if it's okay to kiss you, do you mind?" he asked quietly.

Usually if he was a part of something rule breaking he'd be one of the ones working on the plan. Taylor thought it would be kind of interesting being the one just showing up and following orders. If he got stuck in detention it wouldn't be the first or the last time. Plus, there was a chance they would be serving detention together, which couldn't be too terrible. "Well alright then." he said, putting that matter to rest.

A pleasant surprise was that she didn't argue with him about buying her own things. Both of them could probably afford whatever they wanted, but this was her treat. He wouldn't be letting her buy anything of her own on her first date. Maybe later they could go dutch on some things and get what they wanted separately, if she preferred. Slowly he noticed her starting to regain her balance and sober up, but she still leaned against him, which made him smile.

Taylor brushed her cheek with his thumb as he moved his hand to the back of her neck. Her eyes were gorgeous and he just smirked when she said it was her first kiss. "It's simple, relax and kiss back if you want. Won't do anything too complicated." he promised. Closing the last few inches, he pressed his lips gently against hers, his fingers tugging just a little on her hair.

Taylor could hardly understand why Severine was so down on herself, it was baffling to him. Yeah, he'd heard stories about her sister and knew she was supposed to be like a complete knockout but still...Severine was one too. The problem was for some inexplicable reason he didn't understand she couldn't see it. Even though he hadn't planned it at first, he'd made it his mission as they hung out to try and start helping her change that opinion of herself. If they only ended up as friends he could still help with that. Usually, he wasn't one to offer help for nothing but...she was a proper pureblood who was acting almost embarrassed of herself. No matter if she was the meanest girl at Hogwarts he couldn't allow her to disgrace purebloods, and she was far from that.

The way she wrapped her arms around him as they kissed let Taylor know she was enjoying it, even though she was letting him dictate the terms of it. Pressing just a bit more forcefully, he then licked her lips lightly with her tongue and pulled his head back, his arms still around her though. "See, it's easy. You okay?" he asked, brushing some hair out of her eyes and tucking it behind her hair deftly. He had enjoyed the kiss, but it wasn't mind-blowing or anything since he'd done it before.
