| Audrina hoped that her brother saved her a seat next to him. She never really ever felt comfortable sitting with someone else when her brother was right there. They were joined at the hip because of the fact they were kind of the same person. Audrina never really minded if someone talked bad about her but if someone did and her brother heard it then.... yeah hell would have to be paid.
When she entered the classroom, she was relieved when she saw the spot next to Arden open. She smiled and let out a breath she hadn't known she had been holding and went to join him. She wasn't fond of where he had chosen to sit but she would deal with it later, right now she just needed to feel familiarity and it was something she felt when with Arden. She took the seat and smiled at her twin before turning to face the front and waiting. |

| Lux stalked to class in a rather happy mood. She'd just terrorised a student in the hallway on the way to class by making the poor scrawny boy do a hundred push ups as punishment for breaking curfew the night before. True, it had only been by one minute but ever since Lux was appointed prefect, she could only bully students if they did something wrong and she became very diligent in seeking out those who broke the rules. It had been fun to see him trying to complete the push ups and seeing him beg her for mercy.
Strutting into the classroom, Lux raised an eyebrow at the stuff hanging from the ceiling. What were they in? Kindergarten art class? Rolling her eyes, Lux didn't bother acknowledging the professor and instead walked to an empty table at the side of the room. If what they were learning today was not worth her time, she was going to walk out of the classroom. She didn't care if it was rude or if she would have her prefect and student of the year title revoked - good riddance if that actually happened. |

| Charms was a good class to go to, so was Defense Against the Dark Arts. It helped you with a lot of learning and made sure that you were prepared for whatever laid ahead in the future. She had heard from her mother that no matter how hard she tried her best to succeed she never could get it just right but she wanted something completely different for Izzy. She wanted Izzy to be a good student and to pay close attention to what was being taught to her. And Izzy would not let her mother down.
Izzy walked into Charms class and saw that there was a pretty good turn out so far and she was glad that the class was popular, the other students probably thought the same that she did and that was a good thing if you asked Izzy. The young girl had everything and was ready to go. |

| The first thing Mina noticed about the professor was that she, too, was also Korean. Or perhaps part-Korean. Either way, she was certain about the woman's ethnicity, in the same way one would be certain about which one their house was in a row of ridiculously similar buildings. It was all in the tiny details, although what they were, Mina couldn't really pinpoint. All she knew was that looking at Professor Caro gave her a sense of familiarity, and it wasn't until after she had greeted the professor and walked to her seat when it hit her.
Professor Caro looked oddly similar to her older sister, Min Ji.
The eyes were definitely different. Professor Caro was doe-eyed; Min Ji's eyes turned downwards at the corner and looked like what Min Ji would describe as 'sad, wistful eyes'. Professor Caro, too, had a face shape that was almost square, which was what made her question whether the woman was half-European. There was something very Audrey Hepburn-like about her, and looking at the way she sat upright, Mina knew it wasn't just her face. Aside from those minor things, though, Professor Caro and Min Ji had the same same straight nose, and the same plump lips which was a shared characteristic in the Kim family. Homesickness rushed over her, and Mina had to look away.
Seeing the strange decoration on the ceiling, she busied herself by studying them instead, wondering why their professor had chosen such an odd way to decorate a classroom. It was pretty, however, and it gave her a sense of affinity with the professor - as if from the decoration she could feel that Professor Caro, too, was a similar soul. A regal, creative soul.
Of course, the regal bit was questionable. So far, during her years as a student in Hogwarts, she had figured out who the pureblood families were, and which ones were worth knowing. Last names were especially important in this country, as they indicated where one belonged in society, and what their futures might be. Sure, Professor Caro seemed refined, but she had yet to hear of the Caro's as a well-respected family, and that meant the professor was not on the same level as Min Ji. No matter how much they looked alike.
Sitting back, she crossed her legs and pulled out a book from her satchel. She would learn more about the Professor later. For now, she had more important things to study. |

| Finley was not happy. Professor Ellingston had left him on his own. Well, no, he had left everyone. Which meant Professor Ellingston was no longer teaching Charms, and Finley wasn't going to have his mentor around anymore. Of course, Professor Ellingston - or Codey as he had insisted in his last letter - hadn't gone without making sure Finley knew he could contact him with anything, even if he was no longer at school.
But Finley's work on non-verbal magic was not complete.
Still, the only way to get better was to keep practicing, which was why Finley had headed in to Charms that day. He didn't acknowledge the new professor, moving instead to the back of the room and sitting quietly. Finley wasn't a trouble maker, but he wasn't sure he liked the new professor - for Codey's absence, and nothing more.
Glancing up at the ceiling, Finley noted the decorations and couldn't help but frown to himself. What in Merlin's name were they doing there? |

| Charms, something that Violet kind of found interesting, There were just so many charms, so many options and functions to learn about. They were easily just as important as defensive spells, and she noticed that a lot of them existed purely to make life easier, something Violet would never pass up, ever.
Violet entered the classroom and was pleasantly surprised to see all the time strips of paper floating and glimmering in the air above her. It was rather intriguing, a different way to begin a lesson. She dropped her bag by a desk and sat down. She couldn't think of what they would be doing that involved floating pieces of paper. Perhaps it was levitation (the class was merged with the younger students, so it was totally plausible), or a shimmering charm, summoning charm… There were so many different directions that the lesson could go in today. So Violet waited for the lesson to start. |

| Rumours were spreading around Hogwarts like wildfire about the new Charms professor. Beauty like no other, Christopher had heard from others in his social circles. The only way to find the truth in this rumour, though, was for Christopher to attend the lesson. Having something of a bait to get him to go to class was something Christopher needed.
Hogwarts, he had found, did not push him enough.
Slipping through the classroom, confidence oozing from him as he walked in, Christopher took in the new professor, and found himself pleasantly surprised. The rumours held some truth, then. "Good morning, professor." Christopher greeted the witch, moving to a seat near the front of the room - but not the front row. He had an image to upkeep, but he didn't want his view to be obscured of their new professor.
Of course, all of his gazes towards the professor would be subtle, he knew better than to be caught staring. |

| Luke walked to class on his own that morning, though this was not unusual. He had planned on meeting up with Chrysanthemum, truth be told, but finding the Ravenclaw as of late was not an easy task at all. How many places could she hide in?
Frustration had crept in to the Slytherin, but he was holding it in. For now.
Slipping in to the classroom, Luke's eyes scanned the room, looking for one of two people. But, the one he wanted most was the one his eyes fell on, and Luke moved to sit next to Chrysanthemum without hesitation. He knew enough to know that nobody else was going to sit with the Ravenclaw, so the Slytherin hadn't bothered to ask if it was okay to sit with her.
She was his, after all, she needed no one else.
Taking out a notepad and a pen - careful to make sure it was not the one he had written about Chrysanthemum in. Not yet, she needed to see it completed, first - Luke readied himself for the class without a word to anyone. |

| Aaron actually liked Charms. Although he did remember the previous Professor, he was excited to see what the new Professor was like. So he had hurried from Ravenclaw tower to the third floor. He knew he wasn't first in the classroom, but he was glad all the same that he wasn't the late for the class, which he was notorious for being. Upon walking in the class room he couldn't help but notice the things hanging from the ceiling. he frowned for a second then shrugged. Hopefully she would explain it to them when the class would officially start.
He took a seat as close to the front as he could and pulled out a small bit of parchment and began to doodle on it. It was no piece of artwork, but it was a very simple way to just pass the time until the bell sounded and marked the beginning of the class. |

| Charms was one of Isaline's favourite classes. It was certainly the most interesting of all of the ones she had attended. She entered the classroom to see that she was not the first one there. This came as no surprise to her, as she had always thought that only the desperate ever arrived early. She believed that being on time was much more appealing.
As she took a seat in the back, she couldn't help but notice the very out of place papers that were floating above their heads. She wondered if they were going to learn how to suspend objects in the air. She decided that she would like to know how to make things float. It would be a good skills for galas and parties.
Whatever they were going to be doing, she hoped that it was not the summoning charm. That charm was so simple that a first year could do it. She wanted something harder. |
