| History of Magic was dull dull dull, and in truth, Madison wasn't sure why she had decided to sign up. Part of her told her that it was her boyfriend, so she could spend more time with him, but she knew that was only partially true. In fact, the only reason she had done so was because of that one girl (whose name Madison no longer mentioned) that dared to crush on Finley; Madison did not consider herself the jealous type, but she knew she had to keep an eye out for the Ravenclaw.
After all, he was far too innocent to realise when people were flirting with him, and she made it her mission to ensure that people didn't try. Or rather, that nobody else dared to try.
Making her way to the class, she entered, eyes going straight to the board, taking in the face that jumped out at them. Sirius Black. The only reason she knew about him was because she had read a book on famous killers of the past and his name had appeared as one mistaken as a mass murderer, which had caught her interest. Someone could successfully put the blame for something as tragic as that on someone completely innocent? So, she had done her own research on the topic.
But none of that was relevant, and instead, after greeting the Professor, she took her seat next to Finley. "Hello there," she said softly, grinning at him. "Sirius Black," she added, nodding towards the board, trusting Finley already knew about him. "Interesting story, don't you think?" |

| Honestly, Alberi wasn't sure if he wanted to go to History of Magic or not. Anything that he would need to learn about the history of this world, if he ever even needed to, that is, he could read in any book across the globe. Now, if it was how magic had interfered in muggle history, it would have been a bit more interesting but there was nothing such - instead, they learnt about things that has happened between wizards themselves. Though it was nice to know about what happened to those before you, Albeir had no such interest - it was the future that was important, not the past. He will only look towards the past to make sure he won't make the same mistake that they have made. Otherwise, it simply became useless to his everyday life.
However, he decided to see how today's lesson would turn out. If he considered in worthy of attending in the future, he would go. However, in any other situation, he probably would make this his last coming here. 'Which means I have to examine everything carefully.' the blond thought to himself as he walked towards the classroom. Though he was interested to see what he thought, most of him hoped that it would be meaningless. History just was not where his mind preferred to head and he would much rather use the time in researching something more valuable than this. Alberi would not become a historian, after all. Other stuff were more important for the world he is living in at this moment.
Entering the classroom, he found that the teacher had put her feet on the table. He resisted the urge to bite his lip or rise his eyebrow - it definitely wasn't the act of an authority one would expect from a teacher. And they wanted from him to respect those people... He only respected those who respected themselves and what they really can or should do. Only pleasing himself with a quiet huff, he greeted the professor with a 'Good day' before seating himself at a place that didn't have anyone while still being near the front.
Looking up to the board, he noticed a laughing mad man looking at him. Or that was what most people would think. Alberi had read up a bit on the recent wizard history and had found about Sirius Black, who was probably one of the wizarding world's biggest mistake. That was one thing Alberi never managed to understand about wizards - they had so much to find out the truth, yet they only trusted what they saw. They literally had a potion that could force the truth out of someone, yet it was never used. A foolish use of 'equality.' Anyone can say they are guilty, especially when forced (are here death threats seem to be even more serious than in the muggle world), yet they ever looked at that. Seems that people were always foolish, magical or not.
Smirking, he looked at the man again. Maybe this lesson could be about that. Doubtful, though it was still a possibility. Perhaps Alberi could continue to come here, if only to figure out how wizards have acted and find out elementary solutions to those problem.s Maybe this class won't be such a waste of time, at least. |

| Annabelle mutters under her breath as she made her way to class, she seemed to be on the right track unlike how she had gotten lost that morning. "This place needs signposts.." She says to herself as she passed by a classroom only to back up when she realized she had found her next class. History of magic intrigued Annie to say the least. As a muggle born she had never know about real magic before her letter had come and as such she looked forward to the class.
She just hoped that it wouldn't be as boring as she had heard it could be. Darting into the room she beamed at her professor. She knew she this women could make her come to love or hate this class and already she was leaning to the latter seeing what they were going to learn today "Morning professor!" She says before taking her seat in the front row beside a fellow Hufflepuff second year. Under her desk her legs swung back and forth as she pulled out everything she would need for the class. With a quick tug she untied her ribbon from her wrist where she kept it between classes and tied her hair back preparing to focus on this class as much as the energetic girl could. |

| Kate smiled and nodded to each student as they came in. When Elleon gave her a note however explaining his lack of interpreter she swung her feet off the desk and sat up straight reading it quickly. She nodded her head and left the note on her desk as a physical reminder to look at the young Hufflepuff.
"Not a problem." She said looking to him making sure she was doing it right. Her classroom filled up rather quickly, and without further ado she stood up and moved to the front of her desk. She gazed around for a second or two before waving her wand and closing the door.
"Now, if you haven't gathered already that we are going to discuss Azkaban and it's great escapees. Well, now you know." She paused and waved her wand as the chalk rose and wrote the topic on the board behind her while she made sure to look more towards Elleon's direction again. "So, who knows anything about the Wizarding prison at all? Who guarded them?" She asked. She had assumed that the students with magical background would have a head start on the topic, and at least knew about the yellowing newspaper behind her and expected someone to know something about Azkaban. |

| There was little and less time for the girl Elenore had sat down next to to respond to the greeting that she had given, but the French witch didn't mind. The sooner they cracked on with the work, the sooner they would be free and she would be able to do the things that she found much more interesting.
Soon, the professor spoke, and Elenore turned her attention to the professor. She held no power in Elenore's (very private) opinion, but Elenore would pretend to be interested in what she had to say.
When the question was raised, Elenore took a moment to look around the class, waiting for the know-it-all's hands to fly up with an answer, but it seemed they were out of luck, today. So, instead, Elenore raised her hand, straight up, but not enthusiastic. Once she was called upon, she replied softly - you did not need to raise your voice to be heard in a room.
"Azkaban is the wizarding prison that homes the convicted criminals of Britain. It's located in the North Sea, and said to be Unplottable. However, of course, like Hogwarts, there are people who know how to find it, such as the Ministry Officials who put the criminals there." Elenore provided, waiting for the professor's response. ________________________________________________

| Ryder had soon made his way History of Magic and he knew he would be bored since who loved learning about history really? And what was the use of the subject in the world as well as many other uses of subjects in the world since he knew that he would be bored. Then soon Ryder entered the classroom and was happy he was a little late since he had no regard to sit through the whole class.
The young boy took a seat and he looked at the Professor and he shook his head as he just waited for the pure torture to begin even though it had basically begun, as he soon sat back and wondered why he had even bothered attending classes.
Then soon he remembered his Uncle telling him he needed to attend his classes if he wanted to try out for Quidditch and that he needed ot be more like his sister Rowan as he soon just looked and he began to pay attention. |

| Tristan had been okay with taking History of Magic even though it truly was not his first pick of a class, but he knew sometimes people just had to leave with it whether they liked it or not since life was not a way to get a simple sliverspoon on everything one did.
That was one thing he knew and as he entered the History of Magic classroom with a smile as he went to find a seat, and he listened as he was finding a seat that they would be talking about Azkaban the notorious wizard prison which his attacker should have went who bit him, but he soon looked and he gathered his things and wondered.
He wondered if they would also discuss historical wizards who were apart of Azkaban as well as escapees who managed to escape which from what he heard was impossible during those days as he proceeded to look and listen. |

| Cole had thought History was somewhat boring and even in muggle school he did not like it period. Even though he still did pretty good in it and with any class he did fine with it, and soon he walked up to History of Magic, and he soon hoped his siblings would not pick on him and he had wondered what he would be taught.
The seventeen year old had entered the classroom as he soon saw the board read Azkaban and other wizarding prisons, which made him smile a place were cruel people deserved to rot and have no way out, especially those people who thought muggles were inferior, and in his mind anyone who though that was a lowlife.
Since he despised pureblood society, and felt that those who hated half-breeds and muggles should be in Azkaban for injustice. The seventeen year old had soon looked and he soon took a seat and he soon looked at the professor, and he said.
" I am sorry that I was late. " said Cole as he took a seat and hoped that he could make up for his lack of being on time, and he soon listened as the professor said they would be talking about Azkaban and the great escapees and in Cole's eyes were those who deserved to be pushed off the edges of the place and into the water that surrounded it.
Soon Cole raised his hand, and he asked. " Wasn't one of those escapees falsely accused, and was put behind bars for something he did not do? " asked Cole. Since in years prior he heard that the person had died without being able to clear his name and not dying a free man.
Then soon he resumed listening, as he heard the professor ask more questions and he watched as a fellow Hufflepuff answered a question and he sighed, hoping he could answer it, and soon he just looked and hoped he could have another opportunity to answer a question. |

Then to her dismay she went to take a seat, and soon saying in which had been what she was saying for the past couple of weeks as she soon said in a kind voice.
" I am sorry for being late. " said Sophie as she trotted and took a seat and had her stuff placed down by her as she soon began to pay attention. |
