Rules

- NO MAGIC
- Participate
- Make sure to study
- Learn about the internet
- Learn one fact about muggle life
and bring it to class to discuss
- Don’t sit alone

With the rules still up on the board, Ryan decided to get the older students learning about the technology right away. He didn’t have anything to place on their desks, or any fun facts as he did with the younger students. The only thing he had prepared for them was a sort of class trip they would take later on in which no magic would be allowed, and he had to prepare them for that. Light bulbs, radios, stoves, everything. He would teach them how to use every single piece of technology available to him, and then he would let them prove they knew how to use them and maybe, if he thought it needed, how to repair them. He would start by the basics of technology, of course, but eventually he would work them up to the more advanced sections.

This was the lesson he was most excited about teaching, as he knew quite a lot about this himself. Taking a sip from his coffee, which was now cold, he grimaced and set it away. Ryan leaned back as he waited for the students to walk in, hoping that there were quite a few purebloods he would teach every little thing to, as half bloods and muggleborns usually knew enough by the time they were in their early teens.

Being a pureblood, Peter decided that Muggle Studies would be a useful class, especially since he was planning to live among them in the future. The Muggles he knew had taught him some, just being around them had been an experience, but he wanted to learn it in a place where he wasn't going to be judged to death for asking what the YouTube was. The Dungeons weren't far from the classroom, so Peter took his time as usual. He stopped on the way to figure out if there were any new postings on the board at the Common Room. He had missed the Halloween Ball due to the excessive amount of work he'd out off and had to finish at the last minute.

Truthfully, he really wanted to go. He wanted to enjoy the night and spend time with his house mates. Instead, he had stayed in his dormitory trying to finish homework he didn't even care for. He did it, though, mainly because h wanted to graduate. So far, no news of any upcoming events had reached the Slytherin Common Room, but in the case that something came up Peter had already decided he who he wanted to ask out, and it wasn't Effie. He walked away from the board and out of the Common Room, making his way to the Muggle Studies classroom.

The halways weren't crowded, and Peter didn't quite like that. He missed the noisy first years. As he arrived, he took a seat in the back row and immediately took a liking to the professor. He looked like the type of man Peter could get along with, something about his aura just made Peter greet him with a grin. Looking at the board, he read over the rules. Of course, Peter had to break all of them at some point, but he didn't really like the one about studying. He never studied, and if he did, he did it the night before. If the professor was telling them to study in advance, that meant he wasn't afraid to throw quizzes every which way whenever he pleased.

Effie sighed as she made her way to the muggle studies room. It wasn't a class she had on her list to do particularly well in. Since she was a halfblood, she knew most things about muggle things. But they weren't fascinating to her so she didn't pay much attention when she was taught something. She walked in the classroom trying not to pant due to all the walking. She wasn't in the mood to be laughed at today. But when she walked in, she saw a surprising face. It was Peter! She walked over to him, and said, "Sup. Ready for this shit?" She sat down next to him and read the board, "Don't sit alone..." Well that one was covered!

She read the board no magic? Typical. Who was this dude teaching anyways? They seemed to get new teachers every year and it was getting a bit confusing to keep up with all of them. She hoped for this dudes sake that he stuck around for a while. She looked up and noticed the professor at his desk. And, hot damn. Effie wasn't sure if it was really hot from walking all the way up the stairs from the Great Hall... or if it was something else. But her breath was taken away. She took a seat next to Peter as she waited for the lesson to begin.

Muggle Studies was a class that Victoria could not give up, despite herself. She did take every class on offer though, filling her timetable completely, not to mention her evenings and weekends with the amount of homework. But Victoria liked to keep busy, you could never get bored if you were always busy.

So, hurrying up the stairs from the common room, Victoria slipped in to the room and smiled towards the professor. "Good morning, professor!" She greeted, giving a small wave to Peter and Effie at the back of the room. Victoria made a beeline to the front, as she always did. The note on not sitting alone caught Victoria's eye, but she couldn't really help that, there were only two other people in the room, and they had sat next to each other. Figuring the professor wouldn't mind, Victoria took out her books and her quill, getting ready for the lesson and looking towards the professor expectantly.
