"Actually, she'll probably have a lot more, T," the politician explained, picking Violet up and setting her down by the dog. "At least six or seven."

"So just like mommy," Tessa grinned.

Victoria curled in to a ball in her bed as much as the baby bump would allow. Tears coursed down her features as she held tightly to the shirt that still smelt like Jackson.

The war had created an isolation the witch couldn't have foreseen. Cut off from the rest of the world as America tried to keep all intel down low meant she had no contact with her brother... Azalea...

Jackson wasn't allowed to call home often with his active duty.

Her stomach felt uncomfortable.

But with the eight month mark only just met, it wasn't time yet...

Annagramma stopped, turning to look at her boyfriend thoughtfully. "I do love you, though," she began trying to pick the right words. She was normally very bad at those. "I can just never leave Alex, ever."

"And why not?"

There were too many answers to that, too many to list.

"Who else would get his baguettes?"

"That diamond is moving, Alex!"

Alex followed Anna's finger to the stars above Paris with a small smile.

"That's an aeroplane, Anna," he would correct gently, his arms wrapped around her waist as they stood on the rooftop of their home in the city.

They'd only been here for a year. A lot of things had changed, and almost nothing had changed either.

Alex remained entirely unsure on how to act around the witch in his arms.

Still in the limbo of pressing a kiss to her shoulder, or remaining friends.

"Make a wish?" He prompted, pointing to the brightest star.

"Squid Boy?"

"So are we going to the Junior Magizoologists' Ball?"

"What's that?" The brunette asked despite Squid Boy having explained it in some detail only a few minutes ago.

"Nevermind," the boy grumbled, returning to his book.

The accountant looked up from the contract he'd received from the Clement's to find Annagramma in only her underwear. His eyes averted from her form.

"There's no such thing as Good and Evil, Anna." He told her softly. "Just the people who are going to keep us alive, and those that want us dead."

The redhead's features made the face of incomprehension that Alex had become particularly fond of over the years.

His fingers moved the pen across the page, signing off both their future with the family.

"They'll keep us alive."

"Both you and that little girl will fall flat on your face without the GOP."

"Then we'll go out with a bang," Jackson grinned, handing in his official party resignation.

The bride span around the dance floor, a big smile on her features.

"I don't think today could have gone any better." Victoria admitted to Azalea as the song finished, sucking in a deep breath.

"Oh, I think it might just be getting better!" Azalea replied with a conspiring smile as Jackson came up behind the small witch and lifted her bridal style without any real effort.

"Mrs Blake." He intoned, earning a soft giggle from his wife's lips. "Sorry, she's mind now." Jackson added to Azalea.

No fight came from her as Jackson turned towards their room.

Stumbling in to the cupboard, Jacques' eyes turned to the girl before him.

"Seven minutes!"

Her eyes moved back to him like a deer in headlights from the announcement outside.

"I..."

"We don't have to do anything you don't want to." The fifteen year old heir reassured her.

"What if I don't want to do anything at all?"

"That's fine by me. Do you want to pretend we did, or be honest?"

"I..."

"Take your time, we've got seven minutes to plot this out. I won't do anything you don't want me to." Jacques reassured with a soft smile.
