"Hold... Still..." Alex insisted, reaching up with the ice pack to the witch's cheek. It would have been easier to heal the mark with magic, but Alex's healing abilities were limited.

"Is it bad?" Anna asked him innocently.

"Nothing could ever look bad on you." Alex lied without a thought, his hands shaking as they tried to work tenderly to fix this mess.

"You suck at lying."

Alex let out a soft laugh at that much, knowing that she was right in that respect. It was one of those things that kept them together, he protected Annagramma from the world.

Louis took her hand, his gaze directed at her fearful features. "Do you really think I would let anything hurt you?"

She didn't have to think on that. "Let's go."

The wails grew louder. Jake couldn't do anything to quieten his daughter as she stared down at the ice cream that had fallen from her cone.

Unintelligible words were leaving her mouth.

"It's okay, Adrienne, we'll get you another one."

"Another?"

"Yes."

"They were £7! Each!"

Azalea scowled at him in a manner that had the Auror hurrying back towards the ice cream van to replace the ice cream. This time, however, the man ordered it with a small tub to collect the ice cream when it melted.

Jake smiled as he returned, Adrienne insisting she was a big girl.

Both Jake and Jackson winced at the lift, Jackson's daughter's foot was squarely in the crotch of her partner.

"Gotta have some balls to do that!"

"Or none." Jake replied with a laugh.

"Would you trust Azalea to do that with you?"

"I value what's between my legs, but... I think she'd actually manage it." Jake replied, eyes still on the ice as the contest continued.

"Not going to ask me back?"

"I don't want any image of Victoria around your crotch, in any context." Jake laughed, glancing at the man beside him with a look that said was enough.

The boys hand stilled against her thigh, his eyes much too cautious as they looked up to her.

"I don't know if..."

"It's alright, you're quite safe. I'm just going to show you how beautiful you are to me."

Tess shook her head at that point her head burying in to the boy's neck to hide her face from him.

"If you'll let me..."

As the boy's hand moved again, Tess' body didn't resist. It remained cautious as he drew circles against her skin, but the boy would be true to his word as she gave him her virginity.

"I can't drive in this!" Jake exclaimed, frustration oozing from him as he was forced to pull off the road. The terrential rain was impossible to navigate.

Azalea's hand came to rest on his thigh, drawing comfort in to his thigh.

"Relax, it doesn't matter."

Jake looked over his shoulder in to the back seat. Their niece was fast asleep, tuckered out from their day. Jake turned back to the front. "I just wanted to get her to bed comfortable."

"They won't know the difference." Azalea reassured him, linking her hand with his as they looked out the front window.
