When Alex mentioned his housemate was an artist, he usually got a number of questions on that. What kind of artist? What form of art was her favourite? Did she like the more modern depictions or the classics.
But most women got hung up on the reason why there were numerous pictures of himself around the house that had clearly been painted by your housemate.
The last question anyone asked about Anna was what she meant to him.
A question Alex had tried to answer a multitude of ways.
Each time he answered, he found himself at square one.

"I disagree!" Jake intoned happily, setting down the breakfast down on the bedside.
"What's got you so chipper this morning?"
"Hmm..." The man pondered, moving to press a kiss to Azalea's lips. "Can't I just be happy with you around?"
"Not this early in the morning!"
The witch rolled the other way in bed, allowing Jake the space to slide in behind her and wrap his arms around her.
"Jake," the witch mildly protested as he nuzzled her neck, relenting as his hand found her thigh.
"I said good morning..." Jake teased lightly against her neck.

The witch turned in to Knockturn Alley, alone.
Heading down towards one of the many places that would sell the items she needed for her plants. She could have asked him, he would have taken care of it for her, but his Azalea was independent that way.
Following the witch closely in to the little shop, Joshua Murray drew closer to Azalea, drinking in the soft scent that was barely there.
"You kept me waiting today, A-Azalea." The blond whispered in her ear.

Louis put his hand upon his son's shoulder stopping him in his tracks.
"Revenge is not a route we take." Louis told his son, the challenge was quite clear in his eyes. "Openly."
Jacques' gaze switched from angry to curious, and Louis knew he'd gotten through to the boy, even if only in part.
"Papa?"
"We play the slower game, public revenge does not bode well for the family." Louis explained, though his own features were rather cryptic. "Go, change, rest. Joshua Murray will still be there fore us to deal with tomorrow."
